Edgeland Futurism features collaborate work by students from UC San Diego, Autonomous University of Baja California, and High Tech High School; with guest speakers Stuart Candy, a multimedia futurist, and Nalo Hopkinson, a science fiction author.
The exhibition features a diverse array of artworks involving video, photography, sound, design, and performance.They examine the concept of community, culture, and place by collectively re-imagining the future of the southern California borderland region.
