Clarion Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers' Workshop Graduates Nominated for the 2015 Nebula Awards


We are thrilled to announce that three graduates of the Clarion Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Workshop are nominated for Nebula Awards this year! Two former Clarion students are nominated for Best Short Story. From the Clarion class of 2012, Sam J. Miller's "When Your Child Strays From God," which appeared in Clarkesworld 7/15 and 2013 graduate Alyssa Wong's "Hungry Daughters of Starving Mothers," published in Nightmare 10/15 are nominated in this category. From the Clarion class of 2011, Brooke Bolander's "And You Shall Know Her by the Trail of Dead," published in Lightspeed 2/15 is nominated for Best Novelette.
