The Arthur C. Clarke Center for Human Imagination presents "2001: A Space Odyssey" (1968), starring Keir Dullea and Gary Lockwood, directed by Stanley Kubrick. Based on the short story "The Sentinel" by Arthur C. Clarke, 2001: A Space Odyssey is a cinematic masterpiece, and one of the most influential science fiction works of all time.
At 5:00 PM please join us for a book signing of "2001: The Heritage and Legacy of the Space Odyssey" by Frederick I Ordway III and Robert Godwin.
Books will be available for purchase during the signing.
5:00 PM: Book signing
5:40 PM: Doors open
6:00 PM: Discussion with Keir Dullea, Fred Ordway, and Alain Cohen
7:00 PM: Screening
Location: Atkinson Auditorium, first floor of Atkinson Hall. The event is free and open to the public. Doors open at 5:40PM. Discussion begins at 6:00PM. Please RSVP for admission at 2001-imagination.eventbrite.com
